Laramjal is probably the best presented course in the area. It is in pristine condition, manicured and the tees and fairways are immaculate. When we played the greens had just been sanded and treated and whilst they were true they were very slow and somewhat inconsistent. I am sure this will work through quickly and they will return to prime condition. It was the slowest round we played during our week in the Algarve, at four and a half hours for a 2 ball it is on the edge of acceptable. The cause was a mix of players in front of us some of whom had buggies and some who were walking, as the course was not busy this could have been avoided by letting those with buggies tee off first. This course holds plenty of challenge in every department and should keep golfers of every level on their toes. The staff were helpful and attentive. A banker for every visit to the Algarve.
