Riss Brittain just text me. He thinks he's eithrr got flu or covid and is going for tests. He doesnt want to infect anyone else. So needs to call off tomorrow. Ive sent Jim a personal email saying the same. Sorry.
Just spent 5 minutes trying to tell you my guest Russ may have covid(or flu). He has to call off. SORRY

A small group from Chez Carlos Golf Society were invited to attend the Salgados Yellow ball event. It was very well oganized and run. The staff were exceptional with a very nice meal afterwards and the atmosphere was very friendly and accepting for this event. Well done by all. The course itself was in great shape and the greens I would have to say were the best of any of the courses we have played in many weeks. Very quick and ran very smooth on line. As the last group out on the draw, we did wind up behind two extremely slow groups that created a 51/2 hour round but we can't fault the course or staff for this as it was definitely on those two groups in particular. Maybe not golfers as after 3 holes there was no one in front of them and our fellow Society members that finished prior to us noted there was an hour and 15 minute gap between groups when they came in. Very good value and great atmosphere on the day and looking forward to playing in future Salgados events.
